Handmade by me
Every piece in The Originals Collection begins life as something imagined, a plain object, or is upcycled or recycled. It could be decoupage, original hand-stitched textile artwork, painted with watercolours, watercolour inks or alcohol inks. Textiles, paper, silk, mosaics, paper.
Inspired by the world around us.
Artwork, quirky wearables, homewares and the occasional piece of furniture.
They are definitely one of a kind, created by me.

Where creativity meets function
I opened Made in Lismore on a bit of a whim back in 2020 … yes, during COVID. There were many reasons for this, but primarily I needed to leave my corporate career behind because of COVID, and I needed to care for my dear old dad (he was 98 at his last birthday).
Fast forward to today and I’ve ‘moved’ again, rebranded to Leumesin Handmade, and I’ve discovered the joy of sashiko stitching while working part time at a gorgeous craft store. It’s the dream job I never knew I wanted! You’ll still find me creating beautiful handmade goodies that incorporate everything I’ve been learning – from decoupage to art resin, embroidery in many forms, mixed media, paper crafting, custom seasonal decorations and the occasional mosaics.
I have a shop on Madeit, the leading handmade marketplace in Australia, sell from this website, and participate in the occasional pop up market as well. Life is good.
